What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is quickly emerging as the de-facto standard format for the distribution of news. RSS defines a lightweight XML format that is designed for sharing headlines and other Web content. RSS has been made popular by main news content providers, such as the BBC, CNN, Slashdot, ZDNet and many more.

We use a content management system that allows us to generate news items for events around the SSE group. If you want to be kept informed on news concerning our group, use the RSS feed by simply pointing your RSS news reader to it!

A technical description of RSS can be found on Wikipedia.
